Steps to reserve a puppy

We do not require a deposit to be added to our waitlist. Once we have a confirmed pregnancy, I will begin reaching out to those on our waitlist.  

You are welcome to make a deposit at any time before the pregnancy announcement. An early deposit allows you to prioritize your selection and increases the chance of securing the puppy that best matches your preferences.

If you wish to reserve a selection spot, a $250 non-refundable deposit will be collected.  Your selection number will then be reserved in the order the deposit is received. 

After the birth of the puppies, I will reach out to individuals who have placed a deposit to confirm their selection date. 

Puppy selection typically occurs between 4 and 5 weeks of age. This timeframe allows the puppies to develop both their personalities and physical appearance. We believe it's important to wait until this stage to ensure that each puppy's unique traits are more evident, enabling you to make a well-informed decision when selecting your future companion. 

Selections can be done either in person at our home or via video call, whichever is more convenient for you. We will coordinate the day and time for your selection session based on the order of your reservation. This ensures fairness and allows you to choose your puppy from the available options. 

We recognize that everyone has specific preferences, and it's possible that the puppy someone is interested in may not be available at the time of their selection. In such cases, if no other puppy is suitable for the family, the deposit can be forwarded to a future litter of their choosing. We aim to ensure that each family finds the right match and are committed to accommodating their needs throughout the process.

The scheduled take-home day will be set for the date the puppies turn 8 weeks old. This timing ensures that the puppies have reached an appropriate age for separation from their mother and are ready to join their new families. We find that this schedule allows for a smooth transition and provides ample time for both the puppies and their new owners to adjust to their new living arrangements. 

We understand that individual circumstances may sometimes require the accommodation of keeping a puppy past the determined 8 week pick up date. In such cases, we are open to discussing extended stay options on a case-by-case basis. Please note that an additional fee will apply for this service. We will work with you to determine the best arrangement to meet your needs while ensuring the well-being of the puppy.
